Bird/Worm
The objective in this assigenment was to take pictures from a worm's eye perspective and a bird's perspective as well as placing the subject thoughtfully using the rule of thirds. For bird's eye view she took photos above the subject and worm's eye view she got under her subject to take the picture. It also gave students a deeper understanding of their camera settings and overall capabilities. Peyton took all of her pictures outside and stayed with a loose theme of nature. Peyton's favorite picture was her third bird's eye picture of the landscape. She likes this picture because there is a lot of depth and a lot of interesting matter. She likes how the stream in the foreground takes your eye to bridge in the middle ground and how there is a contrast between the bright water and dark ground. She also likes her third worm's eye picture. She likes this picture because of it's simplicity. She also likes how only a few drops are in focus, catching your attention, and the rest is out of focus.
